After being told the costumes were required at the party we’d be attending, and getting nowhere trying to think of something clever, I went to the obvious source.. MAC Cosmetics’ yearly Halloween face charts. One of their artists had posted a Roy Lichtenstein inspired look and it was decided.

I love Halloween. I know everyone says that but it’s for real. I love scary movies more than any guy I’ve ever dated, it always weirds me out. Brandon likes carving pumpkins more than he enjoys horror films, but that’s okay, he gets a free pass. Even though Halloween is my favorite, I’ve never been good at coming up with costume ideas. Everyone says they imagine it’s something I’d be good at but I’m not. Last year was the first time I had dressed up since I was a kid and my friend Vanessa had come up with our awesome costume idea. How do you top Mark Ryden costumes?
